Filmaka congratulates the winners of its DIRECTV Film Challenge. Ten winners received between $2,500 to $15,000 each (USD). Top prize went to Patricio Ginelsa and Chris Santiago for their short film “A Digital Family.”
Filmaka received hundred of pitches for short films which integrated DIRECTV’s products and services. DIRECTV greenlit 20 films whose filmmakers received $5,000 each to produce their HD films. 2nd place went to Brett Wagner for “Crystal” with 3rd going to Lasrever for “Year of the Rabbit.”

Crystal: $10,000
Year of the Rabbit: $7,500
