What is your dream expedition? Is it rock climbing on seven continents in seven months? Is it bicycling across Europe? This year, NOLS is partnering with Patagonia for the Dream Expedition Contest.
The contest is open to people 13 or older. If you are 13-17 your parent (or guardian) must submit the video for you. The contest ends October 31, 2010.

Remember, an “expedition” is not just an outdoor pursuit, it is any journey or excursion undertaken for a specific purpose.
Also remember that a NOLS Course does not just involve specific wilderness skills such as climbing, rafting, or caving; it involves leadership, environmental ethics, risk management, and backcountry skills.
Your video can be a talking head, or it can be something more elaborate. You can videotape music, art, lyrics, poetry, a video essay, a skit, or just click “record” on your web-cam and talk.
Keep your video under 10 minutes.

You must be 18 to submit a video. So, for everyone 13-17 have your parent (or guardian) submit the video on your behalf.
