Learning to drive is one of the most exciting and coolest parts of growing up. But facts have shown it can be really dangerous. Talking on the phone or to your friends in the car, alcohol & drugs, not wearing a seatbelt, driving at night and just plain inexperience all result in car crashes being the leading cause of teenage death in the U.S.
That’s why Toyota’s Teen Driver Video Contest wants you to submit a short video explaining what you would do to make your friends safer drivers. Do you have an idea that could save your friends’ lives? Explain your ideas clearly. Make them compelling and interesting. Your ideas could save someone’s life. If selected, your idea could also earn you a $20,000 grand prize.
