Consumer Reports Video Contest – $8,000

Consumer Reports is the largest, most trusted independent product testing organization in the world. They accept no advertising, pay for all the products they test, and, as a not for profit organization, have no shareholders. When you subscribe to Consumer Reports, you are supporting their efforts to test and rate thousands of products and services every year, furthering their mission to empower consumers.

Now, the company is asking for your help in creating a video, or digital banner, that demonstrates the benefits of using before buying a car, appliance, electronics or home product. Make it engaging, entertaining and humorous without being juvenile – mature humor only. Please avoid all of the following in your video: drugs, alcohol, tobacco, mature subject matter, weapons, politics, religion, or anything controversial. CR has even provided a couple of jumping off points to get your started:

  • How could Consumer Reports have prevented a case of “Buyers Remorse?”
  • Show a situation where the subject of the film/graphic should’ve trusted an expert instead of believing a coworker or neighbor
  • Show someone using Consumer Reports and astounding a salesperson with knowledge before making a smart buying decision
  • Show someone experiencing a car, appliance and electronic nightmare and compare it with someone who purchased after reading Consumer Reports
  • Show why paying $30 for an annual subscription is better than using a free review site

There is a $25,000 total prize pool with $8,000 of that going to the top video winner. The 1st place entry in the banner category will even take home $2,500. Visit the contest page today and get filming!

    • May I simply say what a relief to find somebody who actually
knows what they are talking about on the web. You definitely realize how to bring an issue to light and make it important.

More people really need to read this and understand this
side of your story. I was surprised that you aren’t more popular given that you most certainly possess the gift.

You truly make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this issue to be really something I believe I would never recognize. It seems {overly elaborate and extremely extensive|exceptionally extensive and overly complicated} for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it! eliminate stress
