It’s time to fire up your video camera and celebrate the bad guy! Wait, what? That’s right. Project ED has unleashed a video contest that is themed around the most interesting part of a story…the villain. They’ve compiled a list of words to select from and it’s up to you to bring them to life!

To enter, choose one of the following: opportunist, corruptor, villain, churl, foe, braggart, tyrant. Based on the definition from the contest page, create a short video that visually represents the meaning of the word. You must display the word, part of speech, definition, and an example sentence on the screen at appropriate points during your video. Check out this finalists from the “Affect Vs. Effect” contest to get an idea. You can also find more samples HERE.

If selected, you will go on to win the grand prize of $1,000! Finalists will also take home a $200 cash prize. Plus, because it’s Project ED, your video will go on to be used in the education field. Good luck!

13+, 60 seconds-, Deadline: March 18th 2014
