The old saying “still waters run deep” means that nobody can see what’s going on deep inside a quiet person. The fact that these mysterious personalities keep many of their thoughts to themselves often means there is more than meets the eye. Enter Project Ed’s “Still Waters Run Deep” video contest. The contest is aiming to shed some light onto a few vocabulary words that describe these curious figures. What’s even better is that they want to give you a large cash prize in return for your awesome videos. Let’s get started!
Create a 60 second or less video that uses one of the following words: modest, diffidence, prudish, austere, temperance, prudence, naïveté, and discretion. Essentially you are creating a “video definition” of the word that MUST include the word, its part of speech and definition, and an example sentence. Check out the sample video below for reference.
2 grand prize winners will be selected to each take home a $1,000 prize. Each winner will be selected from an adult category (18+) and a youth category (13-17). Be sure to read the official rules on the contest page below before entering. Good luck!
13+, 60 seconds-, Deadline: December 8th 2014
