  • “Bringing Solo To Life” Video Contest – $5,000
    Posted April 14th, 2014 at 10:31 pm

When I say party cup what’s the first thing that pops in your mind? If a shiny red Solo cup  appeared, then you’re on the same track as the rest of us. While Solo has been serving up their brand of single-use tableware for 75 years and counting, it was only recently that the company brought us the Squared Cups. But they haven’t stopped there. Solo also offers a line of Heavy Duty paper plates that are perfect for any occasion. It’s these products that Solo wants to showcase in their new “Bringing Solo To Life” video contest hosted by Zooppa. Let’s get started!

Create fun, engaging 30 second videos that feature SOLO Squared Cups and SOLO Heavy Duty Paper Plates. Just like you, SOLO is ‘Up for anything.’ They want to see how you bring SOLO along for the ride and how these products have helped shape your fun lifestyle. Zooppa has provided the following themes in which your video should fit:

    Solo Saves the Day
Taking a cue from thrillers like the TV-show 24, demonstrate how SOLO can save the day when it comes to making gatherings possible.
    Example Video Ideas:
    – A last minute after-school get-together
    – The girls show up un-announced
    – Your husband gets a promotion and you need a quick celebration

    Spot the SOLO
You’re ‘Up for anything’ and always on the go – at the beach, at the tailgate, at the concert, at the house party. Show us how Solo® is right there with you. Think ‘Flat Stanley’…but way more fun!

Videos will be judged equally on originality and creativity, capturing the brand’s values, engaging story telling and production quality. Trust us when we say it will be worth the effort because Solo has some big cash prizes for your winning entries. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place videos will each receive $5,000, $3,000 and $1,000 respectively. $500 will even go to the videos who place in the 4th and 5th spots. Those are not poor odds. We’ll see you in the winners circle!
