The kid-friendly California citrus that West Coast shoppers have grown to love is bringing a bit of sunshine to the East Coast as Cuties California clementines and mandarins hit grocery stores in New York, Atlanta, Boston, and Philadelphia — making the fruit available coast-to-coast for the first time ever. To celebrate, Cuties has launched a new, interactive website created especially for kids and their proud parents. Cutieskids.com will showcase parent-uploaded videos and pictures featuring kids doing what they do best: having fun, acting silly, and, of course, being incredibly cute.
Parents can submit their cute kid videos to Cuties’ weekly contests, with a different theme every week. The highest vote-getter each week will win an Xbox 360 With Kinect, a $500 DonorsChoose.org gift card, and a coupon good for a 3-lb. or 5-lb. bag of Cuties California mandarins.
Best of all, the 18 weekly winners, along with two wild-card entries, will compete at the end of April for the CutiesKids grand prize — a $150,000 college scholarship and $5,000 DonorsChoose.org gift card.
Through the end of the contest, every approved video upload earns a $10 DonorsChoose.org gift card that can be donated to a school project of the entrant’s choice. Cuties has committed up to $100,000 to the charity gift card giveaway.

With all the different forms of current communication (talk, text, Facebook, Skype, Twitter, etc.), it’s only natural that miscommuncations are an everyday occurrence. AT&T wants filmic stories that capture various moments of communication as they occur around important moments and the tensions and triumphs that arise as a result.
Maybe you texted some amazing news to a loved one but it got auto-corrected into something terribly wrong? Maybe sending a picture message at the right time made someones day. Whatever it is, your entry should meet the following guideline:
The tone should be humorous, endearing, emotional, and revealing. Find a way to tell a human story through the technology that we all share. One lucky winner will receive $8,000 and a trip for 2 to Barcelona with 3 nights of hotel accommodation. We love the sound of that!

Teaching adults stuff you already know is the motto of Net Connectors so they are challenging you to create a video that show people…how to send a text message. Who doesn’t know how to send a text message!? Well, this may be second nature to us tech savvy filmmakers, but maybe not so much for our grandparents or even parents.
The overall goal is to make your video easy to understand and informative. Teaching a technically challenged individual something may be harder than it seems. If, however, you are successful and are selected as the winner, you will take home a brand new iPod Nano and be entered to win an iPad 2!
