    Your video should:

  • Windows Phone 7 Video Competition – $15,000 prize pool

    We are in the age of electronic world war when it comes to smart phones. Apple claims it has the most elegant piece of software and hardware combined while Google says Android is open and provides more flexibility for its users, and who can forget “the ultimate business tool”, the Blackberry. These  companies are said to be making exaggerated claims about themselves and/or others to elevate their status.

    Windows Phone 7 has joined the now game and aims to do all of the things these phones can do and more. For this contest, it’s up to you to create a short video that mimics the outrageous claims and gimmicks that these companies have been known to throw out. Does one company claim they have the phone best suited to handle email? Well show the audience why you can do it just as well, or better, with a Windows Phone 7 phone.

  • NCPAD How Do You Get Enough Video Contest – $1,250

    The National Center on Physical Activity and Disability is sponsoring a video contest entitled, “How do You Get Enough?” Being physically active is good for everybody. The intention of this video contest is to illustrate that people with disabilities do live healthy, active lifestyles as well as share various ways to get physical activity for individuals with disabilities and activity limitations.

    Whether it’s indoor or outdoor, recreational or competitive, solo or team, easy or intensive, they are looking for how you (successfully or unsuccessfully) get enough activity in a 1- to 10-minute video clip!  This video contest will be promoted through social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter, and video sharing sites such as YouTube.

    Whether you’re fishing, tubing, snorkeling, racing or exploring, adventures aboard a Yamaha watercraft can be your escape from the ordinary.

    Boating is one of those rare universal activities that almost everyone enjoys participating in. The opportunities for enjoyment are endless! They want consumers to understand how exciting and memorable boating and personal watercraft experiences aboard a Yamaha can be for their family.

    Your objective will be to highlight the appeal of Yamaha boats and personal watercraft thus compelling consumers to find the right Yamaha product for them and their families.

This means you need to think outside the box. Please do not show water, boats, waverunners, docks, and the like.   • Million Dollar Memo – $1 Million Dollar Travel Package

    In case you didn’t get the Million Dollar Memo, Tourism Queensland and SapientNitro have recently launched Tourism Queensland’s latest global marketing campaign that pits businesses head to head to compete for the ultimate reward: a $1 million custom travel package to Queensland, Australia.

    Entrants are challenged to create an entertaining 60-second video that demonstrates why their business deserves to win, and why they think Queensland is the ultimate reward for their staff. The contest, which closes on May 1, is open to any company or workplace worldwide with a minimum of three employees.

    Early entry bonus: Companies who upload their entry by April 17 will go in the draw to win a prize valued at $50,000.

    The Million Dollar Memo campaign will consist of three phases: a Top 50 short-list, a Final 20 list, and culminate with a representative from the final 20 companies travelling to Queensland to compete in an Incentive Challenge, to be held in various locations throughout the State beginning August 23.

    Website visitors can also vote for their favorite entries, with three wild card spots open in the Final 20 list. The ultimate winner will be announced on August 31. Don’t get left out…check it out!
